Hello! So it’s been a little while since I last posted and I’d love to be able to tell you that in that time I’ve ploughed through the next season with Real Sociedad but sadly I’ve barely got a few days into the transfer window.
Work’s been hectic but in truth I’ve just hit the wall that most people hit around this time of the year when it comes to Football Manager, looking at real life transfers and starting to get excited about the possibilities for the new version.
This is why I’ve written this little update to tell you that I think it’s unlikely that there will be another post about the A Sharland Abroad Series. To be honest I’m fairly happy with how it turned out. I got to manage in MLS again and manage the man-god that is Gylfi Sigurdsson. I also got to take charge of Argentina’s most promising players and to be honest if I have one last little save before FM18 it will be a big club where I can sign all the youngsters from Argentina who have moved on this summer. Either that or I’ll use a transfer update and have a crack with Zenit.
As some in Slack know I’ve more or less got my idea for FM18 set and I will hopefully be blogging about it because I’ve had a blast writing again. There will also be a separate Beta save which I’ll also probably blog about.
Needless to say that in FM18 I will once again, be A Sharland Abroad.
